President Attendance! Ankai Bus Shines Brightly in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
08 September 2025
On August 28, 2025, an opening ceremony for an electric vehicle maintenance and operation center was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. As a representative brand of China’s high-end bus manufacturing industry and a key partner of the project, Ankai Bus was invited to attend and jointly witness this milestone in the green transformation of urban public transportation in Kyrgyzstan.
At the ceremony, President Sadyr Japarov was present and expressed sincere gratitude to all participating units and suppliers involved in the project, underscoring the high-level attention and firm support accorded to the national green transportation strategy. In his speech, Bishkek Mayor Abek Junushaliyev highlighted the project’s significance for urban development and stated that the municipal government would implement a series of measures to continuously enhance the city’s transportation infrastructure.
The success of the ceremony was made possible in part by the 120 new energy buses delivered in advance by Ankai. Serving as the operational backbone of the project, these buses feature a modern and elegant design, equipped with wide panoramic windows and a bright, comfortable interior. Their eco-friendly core technology aligns closely with Bishkek's vision for modern public transportation and has received strong approval from local stakeholders.
To better adapt to local operating conditions, Ankai Bus strictly adhered to EU vehicle standards and conducted multiple rigorous tests—including a full vehicle side-tipping test—to comprehensively ensure vehicle reliability and safety, thereby committing to an enhanced travel experience for the citizens of Bishkek.
Against the backdrop of the continued deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative, economic, cultural, and transportation cooperation between China and Central Asian countries has been steadily expanding. Ankai Bus remains dedicated to providing safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly new energy transportation solutions to the global market. This cooperation stands as another example of enhanced economic and trade exchanges and the promotion of green development between China and Kyrgyzstan within the Belt and Road framework.
Looking ahead, Ankai Bus will continue to firmly implement its “Going Global” strategy. With more high-end, environmentally friendly, and intelligent new energy bus products, the company will actively expand into overseas markets, further energizing the global presence of Chinese bus brands and supporting Belt and Road partner countries in achieving low-carbon transformation and sustainable development of their transportation systems.
