43 Ankai G60E Electric Buses Arrive in Chun'an
16 July 2025
Among the rippling waves of Qiandao Lake and the picturesque mountains, dazzling "champagne gold" streaks are nimbly weaving through the landscape. These are the newly introduced 43 Ankai G60E electric buses in Chun'an public transport, which have been fully deployed on multiple urban-rural bus routes originating from Qiandao Lake Passenger Station as well as remote townships like Weiping and Fenkou. They bring a greener and more convenient travel experience to local residents.
The Ankai G60E electric buses, designed to tackle the complex road conditions of urban-rural areas, are the "special forces" of public transport. With their short front and rear overhangs and a narrow body structure, these buses offer exceptional maneuverability, allowing them to easily pass and navigate through narrow rural roads. This feature significantly enhances the coverage and operational efficiency of bus routes, effectively solving the problem of "large buses unable to enter and small buses with low capacity" in some remote areas.
In terms of passenger experience, the Ankai G60E electric buses also excel. The interior features a "no-standing" design, eliminating the crowding and swaying of traditional buses, providing every passenger—especially the elderly and children who travel long distances—with stability and comfort comparable to that of a private car.
Facing complex road conditions in cities, urban-rural areas, and villages, the Ankai G60E electric buses are not only capable but also confident. Equipped with a 120kW peak power permanent magnet synchronous drive motor, these buses make starting, climbing, and overtaking much easier, enhancing transportation efficiency.
Moreover, the Ankai G60E can be equipped with various safety features, including SLI speed limit prompts, FCW pedestrian detection and collision warning, LDW lane departure warning, hill-start assist, and driver fatigue prevention systems. These comprehensive safety measures ensure every journey is protected with care.
The Ankai G60E electric buses are powered by large-capacity batteries from CATL, capable of meeting the demands of long-duration and multi-mile operations with a single charge, precisely matching the actual operational distance requirements of the area. The deployment of these electric buses marks the successful extension of green and environmentally friendly public transport services to the "farthest reaches" of Hangzhou, allowing residents of county towns and villages to enjoy equal and high-quality public transportation services. This move strongly promotes the integrated development of urban and rural areas.
