Nearly 280 Million Yuan! Tender for 289 Buses Announced

On May 12, 2025, a public tender announcement was released for the Integrated Urban-Rural Smart and Green Public Transport Project (Public Transport Vehicle Procurement Project) in Putian City, Fujian Province, China. The project aims to enhance the city’s public transport system by introducing a fleet of smart and environmentally friendly buses. Package 3: Procurement of 157 low-entry pure electric buses (8.5 meters in length) with a budget of 147.58 million yuan.
Package 4: Procurement of 44 low-entry pure electric buses (10.5 meters in length) with a budget of 47.74 million yuan.
Package 5: Procurement of 23 pure electric coaches (11 meters in length, 44 seats) and 29 pure electric coaches (11 meters in length, 48 seats) with a combined budget of 56.68 million yuan.
Package 6: Procurement of 3 operational coaches (12 meters in length) with a budget of 2.31 million yuan.
This tender represents a significant investment in sustainable urban and rural transport infrastructure, reflecting Putian City’s commitment to advancing smart and green public transport solutions.
