A Major Tender for 1,096 Pure Electric Buses Arrive

In Dalian, Liaoning Province, China, a massive procurement plan for pure electric buses has been unveiled for 2025. The scale of this order is truly impressive. A total of 1,096 pure electric buses are to be procured, with 12-meter models making up 66% of the order. Additionally, there is a demand for 346 buses in the 8-10 meter range. With a procurement scale exceeding 1,000 units, which new energy bus enterprises will secure a slice of this lucrative pie?
Following the successful centralized procurement of new energy city buses to replace a large number of aging vehicles in Dalian in 2024, the city is once again submitting applications for a centralized procurement of pure electric buses in 2025. It is reported that Dalian plans to purchase 1,096 pure electric buses in 2025, including 110 8-meter pure electric buses, 236 10-meter pure electric buses, 30 11-meter pure electric buses, and 720 12-meter pure electric buses.
