On the morning of April 24, 2025, Sunwin Bus hosted a grand departure ceremony at Shanghai Haitong International Automobile Terminal for the world's first 27-meter electric double-articulated buses. Officials from SAIC Motor's International Business Division, Shanghai Sunwin Bus, SAIC Motor Mexico, SAIC Commercial Vehicle International, Shanghai Haitong International Automobile Terminal, Waigaoqiao Customs, Border Inspection, and Public Security attended the event, jointly commemorating this historic milestone.

The two crimson-coated buses awaiting shipment represent Sunwin's groundbreaking development of the world's first 27-meter-class electric double-articulated vehicle, tailored specifically for Mexico's market regulations, customer requirements, and operational scenarios. Beyond their modern aesthetics and spacious interiors, these vehicles achieve breakthroughs in safety, energy efficiency, passenger capacity, and intelligent systems.

The maiden voyage of these 27-meter giants to Mexico marks another strategic milestone in Sunwin's collaboration with SAIC International to expand overseas bus markets under SAIC Motor's global deployment.
