Customized Design Tackles High-Temperature Challenges
Kuwait’s tropical desert climate, with prolonged summers and temperatures exceeding 50°C (ground temperatures up to 80°C under direct sunlight), demands exceptional performance from vehicle air conditioning and cooling systems. Drawing on extensive experience in the Middle East market, Golden Dragon optimized its buses for extreme conditions:
• Upgraded high-power AC compressors and condensers, along with enhanced fans, ensure rapid cooling (from 55°C to a comfortable range within 30 minutes) and stable performance even after 8+ hours of operation.
• Dust-proof air filters and ventilation pipelines address sandstorms, maintaining clean airflow.
Guo Weiqi, Golden Dragon’s Central and Southeast Asia Business Manager, emphasized:"Our technical team conducted on-site research during the design phase, identifying local users’ heightened demands for AC reliability. These vehicles outperformed competitors in Kuwait’s extreme summer tests."
Strategic Impact and Future Plans
With this delivery, Golden Dragon’s operational fleet in Kuwait has surpassed 1,000 units. The company plans to increase R&D investments in the Middle East, focusing on high-temperature and high-dust environments for public transport and tourism sectors. This aligns with the Belt and Road Initiative, positioning "Chinese smart manufacturing" as a global leader in sustainable mobility solutions.
