On December 9, 2024, it was learned that 10 Higer New V-Series electric buses purchased by Hejiang Rongcheng Transportation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hejiang Rongcheng") were officially delivered and put into operation in recent days.

 

This year, Hejiang Rongcheng sought transformation once again and turned its attention to new energy buses. "According to our preliminary market research, taking the Hejiang-Lingang route we currently operate as an example, the daily operating mileage is around 200 kilometers. The energy consumption cost of using gas-powered vehicles is 4,000 to 5,000 yuan per month, while using pure electric buses requires a maximum of only 2,000 yuan per month," said Wu Zhenyu, General Manager of Hejiang Rongcheng. This operational cost calculation is quite considerable.

 

It was with such considerations that when Hejiang Rongcheng decided to purchase its own vehicles for public operation, it set its sights on new energy buses, planning to "test" with this first batch of vehicles to see if pure electric buses could be viable for shuttle service operations.

 

After confirming the idea of replacing vehicles with new energy ones, Hejiang Rongcheng began a horizontal comparison of vehicle brands and models.

 

"We compared the new energy bus brands and products currently operating in Hejiang and ultimately chose the Higer New V-Series," said Wu Zhenyu.
