The grand media convergence event "Crossing Mountains and Seas, Blooming Gesang Flowers - Exploring China Aboard a Bus: Tibet Journey" was jointly launched by the Publicity Department of the CPC Tibet Autonomous Region Committee, the Audio-Visual New Media Center of the Central Radio and Television Station, the China Global Television Network (CGTN), the Tibet Branch, and the Beijing Branch. The reporting team embarked on a 14-day journey from October 11th, offering live broadcasts and a series of videos to unlock new travel routes in Tibet for netizens, fully showcasing the beauty of Tibet's natural landscapes, historical and cultural heritage, ethnic customs, inclusiveness, and openness.
BAIC Group, along with its subsidiaries BAIC Foton, Beijing Automotive, and BJ EV, provided full vehicle support for this event.
As a key player in China's automotive industry, BAIC Group fully leverages its industrial advantages, adhering to the principle of "Craftsmanship Technology, Quality BAIC" to create products and services tailored for the western plateau region. In the vast area of Xigaze, many students reside in relatively remote locations, facing difficulties in commuting between home and school. Both schools and parents have urgent needs for school buses. Since 2015, Foton AUV has successively delivered healthy school buses to Shengkang Limin School Bus Service in Xigaze, safeguarding the growth journey of the children.
In Lhasa and Ali, Foton AUV buses offer local residents a wonderful, comfortable, and convenient travel experience, significantly improving the travel conditions for both urban and rural residents and bringing new opportunities for local development. In the fields of government, public security, and corporate vehicles in Tibet, Beijing Off-road vehicles are actively serving. Recently, the first batch of 30 Beijing Off-road vehicles was delivered to the Judicial Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region. As a crucial part of the "Mobile Judicial Office" construction project, they will support grassroots law popularization, legal governance, legal aid, and village/community legal advisory services in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
