Golden Dragon Buses in Africa
China and Africa have continuously enriched and deepened their cooperation in new areas crucial for Africa's economic and social development, such as infrastructure connectivity, healthcare, green development, and technological innovation. As one of China's leading public transportation companies, Golden Dragon has been committed to promoting deeper cooperation between China and Africa for many years. In the past decade, Golden Dragon has exported over 40,000 buses to the African market, covering more than 40 countries and regions.
Golden Dragon's KD Factory in Egypt
As a Chinese enterprise, Golden Dragon not only views export destination countries as markets but also goes deeper to help them realize their industrialization dreams. In countries such as Egypt, Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Nigeria, Golden Dragon has established KD factories, with a cumulative export of over 3,600 buses. By setting up factories locally, Golden Dragon has created a large number of job opportunities and also established technician training schools to help cultivate qualified electrical engineers. This not only enhances the local industrial level but also injects new impetus into the local economic development. Through this cooperation model, it not only helps promote the development of automobiles and clean transportation systems, creating high-quality public transportation services for African people, but also shares China's achievements in new energy bus development with the African continent. These efforts have greatly promoted friendship between China and Africa.
In June of this year, Golden Dragon was invited to provide practical feasibility analysis methods, training courses, and electric vehicle industry development suitability analysis reports for African governments and enterprises related to electric vehicles and energy storage during the first training session of the 2024 Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Technology Training Program for African Countries. This aimed to help African countries achieve shared development for their people and promote an integrated, prosperous, and peaceful African continent.
At this summit, the participating member states unanimously adopted the "Beijing Declaration on Building a New Era of China-Africa Community with a Shared Future", issuing a strong voice for China-Africa joint development. In the future, China and Africa will continue to work together to promote high-quality common development. Golden Dragon will also continue to penetrate the African market, providing bus products that are more suitable for Africa, and working hand in hand with African people to promote green development of public transportation on the African continent.
