The 700th Electric Bus Rolls Off the Production Line at BYD Hungarian Plant
30 August 2024
Recently, BYD Commercial Vehicles announced that the 700th electric bus had officially rolled off the production line and been delivered at its Hungarian factory. It is reported that the B18 bus, equipped with advanced powertrain and battery technology, will also make its debut at the Berlin Rail and Transportation Expo in September 2024.
The BYD Commercial Vehicles B18 model that rolled off the line and was delivered this time is a single-articulated, single-deck pure electric bus. This green, high-capacity bus will significantly enhance the riding comfort and environmental friendliness of local public transportation, while also providing quality job opportunities for the local community.
Currently, BYD has electric bus factories in both France and Hungary. The Hungarian factory is BYD's first factory in Europe and the first electric vehicle factory invested and built by a Chinese new energy brand in Europe. Its products can reach the entire European continent market.
