In June, bus sales reached 42,700 units, a decrease of 3.58% year-on-year, with a production-sales ratio of 107.86%, higher than the previous month. Among the main types of buses, compared with the previous month, light bus sales decreased slightly, while the sales of the other two major types of buses showed double-digit growth.

Compared with the same period last year, large bus sales increased by double digits, while the sales of the other two major types of buses decreased at different levels. In June, 6,300 large buses were sold, up 14.05% month-on-month and 15.04% year-on-year; 4,100 medium-sized buses were sold, up 23.20% month-on-month but down 16.42% year-on-year; and 32,300 light buses were sold, down 2.58% month-on-month and 4.76% year-on-year. The production-sales ratios for large, medium-sized, and light buses in June were 113.53%, 103.97%, and 107.31%, respectively, all higher than the previous month.

From January to June, the cumulative sales of buses were 241,700 units, an increase of 10.01% year-on-year, with a production-sales ratio of 101.24%. Among them, 31,700 large buses were sold, up 36.79% year-on-year; 18,900 medium-sized buses were sold, up 32.89% year-on-year; and 191,100 light buses were sold, up 4.81% year-on-year. The production-sales ratios for large, medium-sized, and light buses were 94.46%, 99.57%, and 102.63%, respectively.

Regarding the domestic sales of buses: In June, 31,400 buses were sold in the domestic market, an increase of 3.68% month-on-month but a decrease of 10.47% year-on-year. Among the main types of buses, compared with the previous month, domestic sales of light buses decreased slightly, while domestic sales of the other two major types of buses showed relatively rapid growth. Compared with the same period last year, domestic sales of large buses increased slightly, while domestic sales of medium-sized and light buses decreased at different levels. In June, 3,400 large buses were sold domestically, up 34.63% month-on-month and 0.30% year-on-year; 2,700 medium-sized buses were sold domestically, up 25.71% month-on-month but down 31.81% year-on-year; and 25,400 light buses were sold domestically, down 1.14% month-on-month and 8.78% year-on-year.

From January to June, the cumulative domestic sales of buses were 177,400 units, an increase of 5.25% year-on-year, with a growth rate lower than the overall bus market by 4.76 percentage points. Among them, 15,200 large buses were sold domestically, up 29.36% year-on-year; 13,900 medium-sized buses were sold domestically, up 21.36% year-on-year; and 148,300 light buses were sold domestically, up 2.03% year-on-year.

In June, 9,000 new energy buses were sold domestically, up 22.82% month-on-month and 5.13% year-on-year, accounting for 28.62% of the total domestic sales of buses. From January to June, a total of 43,300 new energy buses were sold domestically, up 38.57% year-on-year, accounting for 24.41% of the total domestic sales of buses.
