08 May 2024
From April 19 to 21, 2024 Formula One World Championship China Grand Prix (also known as F1 China Grand Prix) was held in Shanghai International Circuit. Golden Dragon, as the sole bus brand serving the high-profile event, provided transportation services for officials and distinguished guests and won wide acclaims from them.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of entry of F1 in China. As the city is under the limelight, Shanghai is positioned to showcase its rich and diverse cultural heritages.
Having accumulated rich experience in providing transportation services for great events both at home and abroad, Golden Dragon has served a number of high-profile events, such as China’s annual “Two Sessions”, Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, Bo’ao Forum Asia, Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF).
At this year’s F1 China Grand Prix, Red Bull's Max Verstappen rose from fourth on the grid to take victory. Kick Sauber's Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu also competed during the event. It was a landmark moment for both Zhou and Formula 1, where the 24-year-old – who is the first Chinese driver to race in the sport – became the first driver to compete in front of his home crowd at the Shanghai International Circuit.
