At the conference, the newly developed Higer new V series coaches were officially revealed to the overseas customers. Measuring from 8-meter to 13-meter in length, they can be powered by fossil fuels, electricity, hydrogen, etc. and are readily adaptable for the tourist transportation market, urban public transportation market, etc. Built on a brand new manufacturing platform, they adopt modular designs. Thanks to a host of advanced technologies, including laser-cutting procedures, robotic welding & painting, they achieve high precision and high quality standards. So far, Higer new V series coaches have already received orders from UAE and Israel, showing a fast rising popularity in the international market.
“In the past two decades, Higer has increasingly integrated itself into the global market with our buses and coaches operating smoothly in over 130 countries and regions. In 2023, our export revenue exceeded 500 million USD, accounting for 56% of our total revenue and exceeding the domestic revenue for the very first time”, said Chen Dulian at the conference. “Through the conference, Higer aims to work more closely with its global partners to explore new business cooperative modes and further improve its after-sales services”, added Chen.
In recent years, Higer has been actively promoting digital transformation, intelligent manufacturing and corporate restructuring. Through improving its corporate management, the bus maker has been shifting its focus from the domestic market to the overseas market.

By reviewing the Higer’s development since its establishment, Huang Shuping highlighted the company’s impressive achievements in the past six years. According to Huang, Higer has made huge investments in the research and development of environmental-friendly buses & coaches as well as the construction of greener and more intelligent manufacturing facilities. By 2028, the bus maker aims to increase its sales of new energy buses & coaches to 80% of its total sales volume. To achieve such a goal, Higer urges all its partners from both home and abroad to further strengthen their marketing efforts.

According to Qiu Yuanhong, China’s public transport market is witnessing three new development trends: electric city buses are becoming the main driving force; the buses for passenger transportation are being constantly upgraded; the mini-buses are also gaining force in the market. Meanwhile, the demand for new energy buses on the international market is growing robustly. “We provide our customers with customized transportation solutions and enable them to deliver more intelligent transportation services”, said Qiu. In the near future, Higer will continue to strengthen its presence in the global market by sharing its expertise with overseas customers and building its overseas factories and spare parts warehouses.

By highlighting Higer’s achievements and innovation in overseas marketing, Gary Jiang revealed the company overcame a host of difficulties and challenges in the past few years. The bus maker managed to increase its overseas sales of new energy buses & coaches from just 3% in 2018 to 40% in 2023. According to Jiang, Higer aims to increase the percentage of its sales of new energy buses & coaches in the overseas market to 70% and its overseas revenue of new energy buses & coaches to 1.1 billion USD in 2028. In the field of autonomous driving buses, the bus maker has also made some major technological breakthroughs.

In 2024, Higer continues to adhere to its service philosophy of "Higer Service, Higher Service" and provides more efficient and more tailored after-sales services for its global customers. “We have built a number of overseas service stations with 24/7 after-sales services to ensure the timely maintenances and smooth operation of all Higer buses & coaches across the globe.
