Golden Dragon Showcases Carbon-Free Public Transportation Solutions at Eco Expo Asia in Hong Kong

On October, 26, the 18th Hong Kong International Environmental Protection Expo, also known as Eco Expo Asia was held in Hong Kong Asian Exhibition Center. As one of the leading expo dedicated to environmental protection, this year’s event has attracted over 300 exhibitors from all over the world.
At the expo, Golden Dragon officially released its newly developed autonomous driving bus XML6885JEV, 5G remotely controlled passenger cabin, electric mini-bus, and SPRITE autonomous driving bus. As one of the leading players in China’s new energy vehicle industry, the bus maker fully showcases its latest achievements in providing carbon-free public transportation solutions that help cities across the world to accelerate their pace on reaching carbon peaking and carbon neutralization targets.
According to Golden Dragon, XML6885JEV autonomous driving bus won 2023 Hong Kong Sustainable Development Innovation Award & Green Transport Innovation Award, bringing the bus in the spotlight. Jointly developed by Golden Dragon, Tech Dynamic Technology Co. Limited (Hong Kong) and GoFurther AI, the bus is particularly designed for Hong Kong. With a maximum speed of 40 km/h, it is equipped with BU2.0 with a calculation capacity of 32TOPS and it allows drivers to remotely control its operation.
As the latest generation of autonomous driving bus, Golden Dragon SPRITE is ready to help Hong Kong build itself as a smart city. With a host of travel amenities on board, the bus is able to drive 360 km continuously.
With 19 seats, Golden Dragon electric mini-bus with low floor access also attracted keen interest among visitors at the expo. Similar in appearance with the widely seen mini-buses in Hong Kong, it is equipped with the latest lithium batteries developed by CATL and is able to drive 148 km continuously. After just being recharged in five minutes, it is able to drive 35 km. In addition, it helps bus operators significantly cut their operation costs.
