On July, 17, 2023 EB-PAC Award Ceremony for Electric Bus Performance Assessment Competition was held in West China (Chongqing) Science Park. Sunwin SWB6119EV01G intelligent electric bus with low-floor access won 2023EB-PAC Best Continuous Driving Performance Award in the 10-11 meter bus category. The award fully recognizes Sunwin’s achievements in reducing the energy consumption of electric buses and improving their continuous driving distances.

On the back of SAIC, Sunwin is fully committed to researching and developing electric and internet-connected buses for bus operators across the globe. So far, it has successfully developed a wide spectrum of new energy buses & coaches to suit customers’ varied needs and requirements.

Themed with “Implementing Dual Carbon Strategy, Improving Transportation Services”, the Electric Bus Performance Assessment Competition was jointly organized by China Academy of Transportation Science, the Bus Branch of China Highway and Transportation Society (CHTS), the Bus Branch of China Road Transport Association (CRTA), the management committee of West China (Chongqing) Science Park and China Merchants Testing Certification Vehicle Technology Research Institute. During the three-day competition, over ten major bus brands in China showcased their latest bus products.

From 2018 to 2020, the Electric Bus Performance Assessment Competition was held in Chongqing for three consecutive years. 39 bus makers with 63 bus models attended the competition.
