As a well-renowned bus maker with a history of 56 years, Ankai is determined to make buses greener and more intelligent, leading a new round of revolution in the bus-making industry.

So far, Ankai has successfully developed its fourth generation electric driving systems, its fourth generation vehicle control systems and its seventh generation electric buses. In addition, it has rolled out hydrogen fuel cell buses with a length ranging from 8.5-meter to 12-meter. Real tests show that its E9 hydrogen-powered bus is able to drive over 500 km continuously. In Liuan, Anhui Province, Ankai hydrogen fuel cell buses have altogether accumulated a total mileage of over 150,000 km.

After developing I-EMS in 2013, it revealed Ankai e-Control System, the first intelligent management system in the new energy bus sector, in 2014. Two years later, China Electric Bus Whole-Vehicle Engineering Research Center was officially established in Ankai.

In 2017, an autonomous driving bus, which was independently developed by Ankai, started trial operation on the open roads in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. In September this year, Ankai’s third generation L4 autonomous driving bus made its debut at 2022 World Manufacturing Convention. In just a few years, Ankai autonomous driving buses have successfully made their way to Wuhan, Tianjin, Hefei and Macao as well as some cities in Japan.

In the business reception bus sector, Ankai has been constantly strengthening its presence. In 2015, its second generation Best K7 hit the market. In 2021, Ankai Best N7 was officially revealed to the market.

To suit the growing demands from tourists, Ankai successfully developed 12-meter luxury coach A9 and 13.7-meter A9, further diversifying its product line. In response to the fast changing market conditions, the bus maker has also rolled out more compact buses, including G6, E6, G7 and Q5 mini-buses to suit customers’ special demands.

In the overseas market, Ankai has also made impressive achievements in the past ten years with its buses & coaches working smoothly in over 100 countries and regions across the world. From 2013 to 2022, it exported over 10,000 units buses & coaches to Saudi Arabia; in 2014, 1,100 units Ankai buses were delivered to Algeria for operation; in 2017, 500 units Ankai buses started operation in Cambodia; in 2019, 300 units Ankai buses were put into service in Kazakhstan. Despite COVID-19, Ankai managed to deliver 800 units natural gas-powered city buses to Mexico this year.

Ankai electric double-deckers for urban tours have also made their way to Italy, Belgium, France, etc. Ankai’s customers for new energy buses can now be found in 15 countries and regions across the globe, including India, Japan, Uruguay, Russia, South Korea and Kazakhstan, etc.

Having obtained US DOT certificate and EU e/E-mark certificate, Ankai has also established a better-connected and more responsive sales network across the globe, making its after-sales services available to its global customers in a more timely and more caring manner.

In 2018, Ankai won CQC Five-Star Service Certificate, becoming the first and the only bus maker in China to obtain such a highly-coveted recognition. In 2019, it was awarded CTEAS After-Sales Service Seven-Star (Excellent) Certificate. In 2021, the bus maker ranked the first place in CAACS Customer Satisfaction Survey.
