Recently, World Manufacturing Convention 2022 was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. Ankai’s third generation L4 autonomous driving bus officially made its debut.

Thanks to the latest technological breakthroughs in internet of vehicles, vehicle cooperative infrastructure systems, Ankai’s latest L4 autonomous driving bus is equipped with a host of advanced technologies, including laser radars, cameras, millimeter wave radars, etc., all of which enable the bus to perform a number of sophisticated driving tasks.

With an integral chassis and lower-floor access, Ankai autonomous driving bus has a spacious interior which offers a host of travel comforts.

As one of the leading players in China’s bus market, Ankai put its autonomous driving bus on the road in Futian District, Shenzhen in 2017. In May, 2019, Ankai autonomous driving bus officially started operation at an airport in central Japan. In September in the same year, it started commercial operation in Wuhan, Hubei Province. One year later, the bus successfully completed a test on a 4.4-km open road in Baohe District, Hefei.

So far, Ankai has established strategic cooperation ties with some hi-tech giants, including Huawei, CICT and China Unicom, etc.
