Chinese Ambassador to Philippines Pays an Inspection Tour to Foton Philippines

On May 20, Chinese ambassador to Philippines Huang Xilian paid an inspection tour to Foton Philippines. After touring the assembly workshop, ambassador Huang hold talks with technicians.
“The success of Foton in Philippines represents the fruitful results of the growing cooperation between China and Philippines. In the past six years, the total investment from China in Philippines exceeded 160 billion pesos. The two countries will continue to work closely to deepen our cooperation”, said the ambassador.
As one of the top ten vehicle brands in Philippines, Foton has created over 5,000 jobs for local residents. With a rising status, Foton is now playing a leading role in the six-wheel truck market in Philippines. For the past two years, it ranked the first place in terms of its sales in the local market.
To meet the diverse needs in Philippines, Foton has rolled out refrigerating trucks, logistic trucks, ambulance vehicles, fire-fighting vehicles and buses with more customized features for the local market. In 2021, it came up with transportation solutions for all scenarios, with mini-trucks, mid trucks, light trucks, heavy-duty trucks and buses and coaches available in Philippines.
