China’s Ministry of Finance to Allocate Over 24 Billion RMB to Promote Urban & Rural Public Transport

On April, 20, China’s Ministry of Finance officially released a Notice on 2022 Budget to Promote Urban & Rural Public Transport. According to the notice, over 10 billion RMB will be allocated to rural area and over 14 billion RMB to urban areas to promote greener public transport across China, with the total amount of budget exceeding 24 billion RMB.
Since last year, China has rolled out measures to promote electric buses in the country’s vast rural areas. In addition, many cities across China have been taking a host of measures to support the commercial operation of electric buses and electric logistic vehicles.
