On March, 31, BAIC Foton Motor Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Foton, stock code: 600166) officially announced that it would deliver 2,220 units Foton AUV electric buses and plug-in hybrid buses with a total value of 3.57 billion RMB to Beijing Public Transport Group Co., Ltd. by the end of the second quarter this year.

More specifically, the deal includes 1501 units electric buses, 350 units plug-in gasoline-electricity range-extending hybrid buses and 369 units plug-in gas-electricity range-extending hybrid buses.

It is expected that the delivery of the 2,220 units Foton AUV new energy buses to the capital city will further help it cut carbon emissions. Moreover, the delivery will mark a new milestone for Foton, exerting a hugely positive impact on its business.
