24 Units Ankai E9 Electric City Buses Upgrade Public Transport in Yiwu
Earlier this year, 24 units Ankai E9 electric city buses officially started operation in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, upgrading the city’s public transport and providing greener and more convenient transportation services for local residents.
With a more streamlined body structure, Ankai E9 electric bus has a uniquely attractive appearance. It achieves higher energy efficiency and delivers impressively powerful performances. With LED lamps, low-floor access, a wider aisle, the bus provides more travel comforts for passengers. In addition, it is equipped with a host of advanced technologies, including PCW, FCW, HMW, etc. At 2020 Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks and Components, Ankai E9 won Innovative New Energy Bus Product Award. In December, 2021, it won another major innovation award at China’s first Commercial Vehicle Innovation Competition.
It is revealed that the bus operator, Hengfeng Group from Yiwu, has already purchased nearly buses from Ankai. In addition, over 90% of the company’s buses measuring six-meter in length are made by Ankai.
Located in central Zhejiang Province, Yiwu is the world’s largest distribution center of small commodities. For years, the city has been making continuous efforts to promote more integrated transportation in both urban and rural areas. In recent years, more and more new energy city buses hit on the road in Yiwu, gaining great popularity among passengers.
