Heze Public Transport Introduces Zhongtong U-LINK to Become More Intelligent

On December 5, 2021, Zhongtong officially revealed its newly developed U-LINK, aiming to take full advantage of information technologies to help cities upgrade their public transport networks.
Recently, Heze Public Transport Group Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Heze Public Transport) introduced Zhongtong’s U-LINK on its buses, which help the city’s public transport network become more intelligent. With the new platform, vehicles can perform regular check-ups, traffic conditions can be monitored in real-time and drivers’ operation are constantly monitored as well. More importantly, Zhongtong will receive reports immediately when troubles occur, helping the bus operator better manage its buses and cut its operation costs.
“Urban public transport has become an increasingly technology-intensive industry instead of labor-intensive industry in the past”, said Yin Zhenghong, president of Heze Public Transport.
Established in 1977, Heze Public Transport has been actively involved in promoting greener travel services for passengers in recent years. Currently, it boasts 1,095 units city buses, 895 units of which are made by Zhongtong. Thanks to the lower operation costs of Zhongtong new energy buses as well as their high reliability, the bus operator has been providing extremely cheap, but increasingly comfortable and convenient transportation services for local residents.
Apart from introducing Zhongtong U-LINK, Heze Public Transport has built an intelligent vehicle dispatch center, which enables it to provide even more efficient and convenient travel services for passengers.
To meet the growing demands for business travel and tourist travel market, Heze Public Transport has rolled out more customized travel services. Passengers can thus book their travel services online. In addition, the bus operator has developed information distribution system, which sends messages to students’ parents when school children swipe their cards to get the bus services. So far, Heze Public Transport has developed 270 customized bus routes.
