800 Units Yuchai Natural Gas Engines Mounted on Ankai Buses to Arrive in Mexico for Operation

On March, 8, 800 units Yuchai natural gas engines mounted on Ankai buses officially embarked on their journey to Monterrey, Mexico. After their arrival, these buses will be immediately put into service on the bus routes across the city. It is revealed that this is China’s biggest bus export to Mexico.
As the state capital of Nuevo Leon State in northeast Mexico, Monterrey is the third largest city and one is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. By introducing 800 units natural gas buses, the city aims to further upgrade its public transport network and provide greener and more comfortable transportation services to local residents.
Currently, Yuchai is the leading power engine supplier for buses exported to Mexico. Thanks to their high energy efficiency, impressive power performances and low energy level, Yuchai engines have already earned a solid reputation in Mexico.
In 2019, a batch of Ankai city buses equipped with Yuchai YC6GN natural gas engines officially entered Chihuahua State, Mexico, marking a new milestone for Yuchai.

Currently, the total number of Yuchai engines in operation in the overseas market has exceeded 540,000 units.
