Recently, 157 units China buses equipped with Cummins 11L engines boarded a ship at Xiamen Port, ready for their service in Israel. Adopting non-EGR design approach, Cummins 11L engine has a newly developed highly efficient turbocharger and an intelligent fuel-saving switch. In addition, it delivers powerful performances and reaches a maximum power of 400 horsepower and torque range between 1,450 N.m to 2,000 N.m. It achieves higher energy efficiency and fully meets EU’s VI Emission Standards.

Having further cut its body weight, Cummins 11L engine enables buses readily adapt to varied and complex road conditions. Considering the harsh working conditions in Israel, Cummins has rolled out several customized features on 11L engine with ISOPOD turbocharging technology. In addition, by optimizing its piston ring structure and introducing more advanced coating materials, the engine further improves its durability and reliability.

Israel is one of the major destinations for buses made in China. For over a decade, Cummins has been working closely with a number of bus makers in China to strengthen its presence in Israel.

According to Cummins, its engine products, including B6.7, L9 and L9N engines, etc., have been widely used on city buses, intercity buses and travel coaches and have already earned a solid reputation among customers.
