50 Units Higer Electric Buses Arrive in Beijing for Operation

On November 19, 50 units 12-meter Higer electric Buses KLQ6121 were officially handed over to Beijing Shengming Tourist Transportation Service Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Shengming) According to the bus maker, all the 50 units Buses will be put into operation in early December, preparing themselves for the upcoming Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

With low-floor access, Higer KLQ6121 has 50 seats on board and provides more spacious room for each passenger. Equipped with a highly efficient driving system, high energy-density batteries and Higer’ independently developed electric motor, the coach is able to drive 300 km continuously. Reaching IP68, it works smoothly even in rainy and snowy weather. With self-adaptable slope system and Higer’s G-BOS Intelligent Operating System, the coach achieves high safety standards on roads covered with snows and ice. It is an ideal choice for receptions at various important occasions.

To ensure the smooth operation of all its buses and Buses, Higer has sent a special after-sales service team to Beijing, providing 24/7 services for bus operators.

Shengming introduced its first batch of Higer buses in 2015. Currently, more than half of its bus fleet (a total number of over 200 buses & Buses) are branded with Higer. “All vehicles serving the Winter Olympic Games must achieve the highest safety standards and the highest energy efficiency”, revealed Guo Yuzhu, president of Shengming.

According to the organizing committee of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the clean energy vehicles account for over 85% of the vehicle fleet serving the big event. They are expected to help the games cut carbon emissions by 11,000 tons.
