King Long DIDO Autonomous Driving Logistic Vehicle Starts Operation in Beijing

On October 27, a King Long DIDO autonomous driving logistic vehicle loaded with freshly picked flowers drove to Furongli Neighborhood, an community affected by COVID-19 in Haidian District, Beijing. Without walking long distances, Residents got their goods bought online after scanning the QR code on the vehicle, enjoying much more convenience.
Jointly developed by King Long and JD, a well-renowned online retailer, DIDO represents the two parties’ latest achievements for promoting autonomous driving logistic vehicles.
According to King Long, DIDO has a loading capacity of 250 kilograms and it can distribute goods people bought online within communities. Each day, the vehicle will get disinfected, effectively containing the spread of COVID-19.
So far, DIDO logistic vehicle has been put into operation in Beijing, Wuhan, Shijiazhuang, and Guangzhou. In Wuhan alone, the vehicle has accumulated a total mileage of over 6,800 km, distributing 13,000 packages to their customers. In addition, DIDO has been collected by China’s National Museum.
