On November 2, 2001, Dongfeng Cummins’ assembly lines in the west area officially started operation. At 5:40 pm, August, 26, 2021, the production in the area came to a halt. On August, 30, the assembly of Dongfeng Cummins BCL engines moved to Dongfeng Cummins’ production base in the east area.

In the past two decades, Dongfeng Cummins’ assembly lines in the west area have rolled out over one million units engines, creating many miraculous stories.

According to Dongfeng Cummins’ development plan, its assembly lines in the west area will soon be upgraded to a modern production base.
