On June 23, 53 units Golden Dragon Polestar city buses officially started operation in Ninghai, Zhejiang province, ushering in a brand new era for suburban public transport. They also represent the bus maker’s efforts to integrate public transport services with postal services in suburban areas.

In September, 2020, Golden Dragon officially released Polestar city bus, which can easily divide itself into passenger area and cargo area on board. Thus, it is easily adaptable to various transportation scenarios, such as commuting services, business receptions, public transport and logistic services.

Measuring eight meters in length, Polestar city bus drives over 190 km in Ninghai everyday and carries over 1,000 items of goods for local residents. Fully powered by electricity, it achieves higher environmental friendliness and provides more conveniences for people.

“We have been exploring different ways to combine public transport with logistic services. Golden Dragon’s Polestar city buses are what we are looking for”, said Qin Yueming, General Manager of Ninghai Public Transport Co., Ltd.
