Foton Honored Two Prizes at Beijing Bus & Truck Expo

On the evening of Apr. 22, 2009, the awarding ceremony of the First China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks & Components was held in Beijing International Convention Center. Foton AUV’s BJ6123 hybrid coach and BJ6125 integral coach won China Road Transport Cup Best New Energy Coach Prize and Best Road Coach Prize respectively.

Established by Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. on Sept. 16, 2003, Foton AUV is specialized in R&D, production and sale of large- and medium-sized buses & coaches as well as chassis. Boasting fixed assets of RMB 288 million (about USD 42.20 million) and total assets of RMB 690 million (about USD 101.08 million), the bus builder covers a land area of 170,000 square meters and a building area of 78,000 square meters. In Mar. 2008, Foton AUV was recognized as China’s Top Ten Brands in Coach Industry and China’s Top 500 Brands.
Currently, Foton AUV offers products ranging from intercity coaches and urban buses measuring eight meters to 13.7 meters long.
At Beijing Bus & Truck Expo, BJ6110 CNG, BJ6123 hybrid, BJ6125 with integral bearing body, and BJ6126 on display are all the most representative products of the company and have already won high praises from their customers.
