On July 12, a grand ceremony was held in Xiamen to mark the handover of 170 units CNG city buses (157 units 12-meter city buses and 13 units 18-meter articulated buses) to their customer from Mexico. Xie Siyu, president of King Long handed the bus keys to Louis, King Long’s sales agent in Mexico. According to the bus maker, all the buses will soon be put into operation in Queretaro, the third largest city in Mexico. Before their arrival, King Long has already sent a team of after-sales service engineers to provide training services for the local bus drivers and repair workers.

As the first batch of King Long city buses to enter Mexico, they are the biggest bus purchase from Latin America this year. After their arrival in Mexico, they will be put into operation on BRT lines in Queretaro. “We firmly believe that King Long buses will greatly improve the travel convenience for the local citizens and help the local government cut carbon emissions,” said one sales representative from the sales agent of King Long in Mexico.

Making its first entry in Latin American market in 2007, King Long currently boasts nearly 30,000 units buses in operation and has established a solid presence in the region.

From January to June this year, King Long exported 7,066 units buses and coaches with a total value of 1.236 billion RMB (up by 36% year on year) to 52 countries and regions across the globe.
