On October 23, President Xi Jinping announced the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) at an opening ceremony in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province.
As the world's longest cross-sea bridge, the HZMB features the longest underwater tunnel and the longest steel structure across the globe. It includes several “world's best” super projects, therefore known as one of the "seven wonders of the modern world".
What makes us pound of is 120 Scania-Higer luxury coaches serving the HZMB as single-story shuttle buses. Higer Bus now is the only Chinese bus manufacturer who provides shuttling service to the HZMB. After the official opening of the HZMB, these 120 Scania-Higer coaches provide point-to-point transportation, with one-way trip around 36 kilometers. Every day, every coach travels among Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao for the convenience of citizens and tourists there. Another 50 coaches are upcoming, making it 170 in total.
In addition to these Scania-Higer premium coaches, a variety of boutique Higer buses also serve the HZMB as shuttle buses. All-new Higer bus features a shuttle-bus-exclusive gold body with a touch of cross-border hi-tech blue. Its streamlined body is a seamless connection with the HZMB. Premium business seats, safety belts with alarm devices, and USB ports are available inside the vehicle.

Serving the HZMB as a shuttle bus manufacturer shows that premiums brands like Higer Bus are capable of providing services to projects like HZMB, which have strict requirements on vehicle quality and service levels.
As the saying "good horses shall be equipped with good saddles" goes, great bridges require powerful bus brands to provide matching transportation services.
