On September 17, 2018 World AI Conference was held in Shanghai. Higer brought its self-driving bus on display. Measuring 8.3 meters in length, the bus is able to accomplish a host of tasks automatically, such as starting up, braking, accelerating, steering, identifying traffic lights.

According to Higer, the new self-driving bus is scheduled to hit the road in Suzhou at the end of 2018.
