www.chinabuses.org: On August 23, typhoon Tiange landed on Jinwan District, Zhuhai, causing huge damages along its way. Yinlong, as one of the pillar enterprises in the city, went to the very front of the disaster relief work, ensuring the smooth operation of Zhuhai public transport.
Public transport is the very lifeline of disaster relief work. On August 24, Yinlong sent its after-sales team to repair its vehicles affected by the typhoon and gave thorough health check to those that were still in operation. Thanks to its hard work, the public transport in Zhuhai soon recovered.
However, as some bus stations have both their power and water supply cut off, employees from Yinlong drove the company’s recharging vehicles to provide emergency power recharging for several buses, ensuring their smooth operation.
A bus driver surnamed Bai told our reporter that his bus took more than two hours for the one-way trip, double the time usually required for the trip. Despite many more stops made during the trip, Bai said his bus were operating smoothly. After getting fully recharged, Mr. Bai and his bus went on the road again.
Fully aware of the importance of bus safety, Yinlong employees conducted thorough inspection on batteries, electric motor systems, tires, braking discs and recharging stations, fully demonstrating the company’s commitment to public welfare.
