06 June 2017
www.chinabuses.org: On May 24, Higer officially rolled out its newly developed bus model, Haiyue, which is also claimed to be the first generation intelligent buses in China. In this big data era, the new vehicle is set to reshape people’s views on smart buses.
Many state-of-art technologies make Haiyue an undisputably smart vehicle, such as its power-on-and-off feature for its engine, its CAN, its EST, integrated aluminum water tank intercooling strucure and its third generation G-BOS terminal on board. These new technologies have contributed greatly for the vehicle to achieve high fuel economy and in return fat profit margin for bus operators. In addition, it has increased its pressure for braking to 1,000 Kpa, which makes its braking system more responsive and more effective. Its leafspring suspension system no longer requires regular maintenance and further enhances travel comforts for passengers.
Now, Higer has set up China’s first cloud testing and detection platform, which provides unified standards, making the testing and detection work more timely, more scientific and more systematic.
The new bus fully demonstrates Higer’s unrelented pursuit of high craftsmanship. Take the buttons controlling bus doors, lamps and air-conditioning system for example. After years’ research, the designers make the dashboard more driver friendly. With a more streamlined and dynamic body structure, Haiyue has incorporated a series of design elements from sedans. Just a glance of Haiyue is enough to steal your heart.
The details of Haiyue, such as the color of the bus interior, the furnishings of the seats, and the floor, also speak volume of Higer’s commitment to making travel more comfortable and unforgettable for passengers. The Android entertainment system on board is fully able to meet demanding passengers who are constantly in search of new travel comforts and enjoyments.
Adopting the third generation monocoque body structure, Haiyue achieves the highest level of safety standards for both drivers and passengers. With an optimized chassis, the vehicle has a larger luggage compartment with its height reaching 1,035 mm. In addition, the steps have become lower, making getting on and off the bus much easier for passengers.
Measuring 11 meters in length, Haiyue is mounted with 47+1+1 seats, making it an ideal choice for tourists and group passengers transportation.
