www.chinabuses.org: On April 17 and 18, the Twelfth Sino-US Electric Vehicle and Battery Technologies Seminar was held at Zhuhai International Exhibition Center. Jointly organized by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, U.S. Department of Energy, Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, China Hi-tech Green Material Development Center, the U.S.-based Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), and Hebei Tsinghua Development Research Institute, the seminar attracted dozens of internationally well-renowned experts in electric vehicle industry and battery material industry. At the seminar, these experts held in-depth discussions and shared their ideas and insights on a number of pressing issues faced by the current electric vehicle industry.
In recent years, thanks to the governments’ favorable policies and the rising demands for green energies, the lithium-ion battery industry, new energy vehicle industry, and power storage industry have all witnessed robust growth.
Wei Yincang, president of Yinlong New Energy Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech
Wei Yincang, president of Yinlong New Energy Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech at the seminar. Currently, the company is focusing on the researches of battery structures, electrolyte, positive pole, negative pole, and diaphragm, etc. Its lithium titanate batteries are becoming the ideal choice for electric buses assigned for fixed routes, achieving high reliability and high safety standards. Mr. Wei also reveals that Yinlong will roll out its fifth generation lithium titanate batteries next year, which are superior to lithium ion phosphate batteries in terms of energy density.
Experts visited Yinlong New Energy Zhuhai Industrial Park
After the seminar, all experts visited Yinlong New Energy Zhuhai Industrial Park, taking a closer look at the company’s research on batteries, electric motors, electric control equipment, and new energy vehicles. During their visit, they also took a ride with Yinlong electric buses and were amazed by the high quality and safety standards of the vehicles and batteries that power them.
