CALB Business Revenue Reached 1.42 Billion RMB in 2016

www.chinabuses.org: On March 15, Sichuan Chengfei Integration Technology Co., Ltd. (also known as CITC) released a report about its performance in 2016. According to the report, the company realized a business revenue of 2.199 billion RMB, up by 35.44% year on year. Its net profits attributable to listed shareholders stood at 138 million RMB, up by 56.30% year on year.


Among the company’s four major business branches, namely lithium battery manufacturing, automotive module manufacturing, auto spare parts manufacturing, and CNC processing, the lithium battery manufacturing business saw the biggest increase, registering a business revenue of 1.414 billion RMB, up by 41.41% year on year, accounting for 64.3% of the company’s overall business.

China Aviation Lithium Battery Co., Ltd. (CALB), as a subsidiary of TITC, is specialized in research, development and manufacturing lithium batteries, power systems and auxiliary products. In 2016, CALB sold batteries with an accumulated capacity of 234 million AH, worth 1.421 billion RMB. Compared with its business revenue in the previous year, it realized an annual growth of 41.73%. In the meantime, CALB pocketed a net profit of 111 million RMB, up by 136.67% year on year.

It is revealed in the report that the big jump in its business revenue can be mainly contributed to the increased production capacity of CALB’s third phase project in Luoyang and its first phase project in Jiangsu.

Currently, CALB boasts an annual production capacity of 900 million W.H. After the completion of the company’s projects in Luoyang and Jiangsu, the two production base will form an annual production capacity of 1.5 billion W.H. and 2.5 billion W.H. respectively.

With a total investment of 12.5 billion RMB, CALB Jiangsu Industrial Park is designed to form an annual production capacity of 12 billion W.H. lithium batteries. The first phase of the park will start operation in 2017. With a total investment of 4.373 billion RMB, The second phase of the park will complete the construction of production lines for producing five billion W.H. ternary material lithium-ion batteries each year.
