Golden Dragon Electric Buses on New Energy Bus Routes

www.chinabuses.org: As an important part of “My Bus, My City”, a theme program organized by China’s Ministry of Transport (MOT), “Looking for Model New Energy Bus Route” has gained much publicity since its official launch. So far, Lianyungang, Shantou and Jinjiang have already stood out among all candidates as the cities in China with model new energy bus routes.
Golden Dragon electric buses on Lianyungang BRT B1 Line
BRT B1 Line is operated by Jiangsu Lianyungang Haitong Public Transport Company. Currently, Golden Dragon electric buses are shouldering the heavy transportation tasks on the line. Each day, Golden Dragon bus fleet, consisting of 188 units 12-meter electric vehicles, provides fast and convenient transportation services for 100,000 passengers. Since its official operation four years ago, the line has long become the first choice for local citizens.
Golden Dragon electric buses on Jinjiang Bus Route No. 2
Golden Dragon electric buses were introduced to Jinjiang Bus Route No.2 in 2014. In July 2016, another 100 units new energy buses manufactured by Golden Dragon were put into service. So far, these vehicles have been working smoothly, providing greener and more convenient travel experiences for local citizens.
According to Jinjiang Public Transport Co., Ltd., the new energy buses now account for 50% of the company’s whole bus fleet. As a pioneer in promoting new energy vehicles in Fujian Province, Jinjiang has attracted bus operators’ attention from other cities in the province. So far, bus operators in Putian, Fuzhou, Fuqing, and Nanping have paid special visit to Jinjiang.
Golden Dragon electric buses on Shantou Bus Route No. 2
Shantou Public Transport Co., Ltd. officially introduced Golden Dragon electric buses on Bus Route No.2 in the city in late December, 2015, ushering the city into a brand new era of green public transportation. So far, Golden Dragon electric bus fleet has a blemish-free record. Moreover, it has helped the bus operator cut operating costs markedly. The biggest beneficiaries are the local people, who now enjoy more comfortable, cleaner, and greener commuting services everyday.
In the old urban areas in Shantou, the roads are narrow and the traffic is usually very busy. Golden Dragon electric buses have injected some new blood and vitality to the old urban areas and greatly eased the traffic pressure.
