Benergy Shangrao Invests 6 Billion RMB in Building New Energy Buses

www.chinabuses.org: In response to the favorable policies to new energy vehicle industry and the fast growth of the sector, Jiangxi Benergy Shangrao Bus Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Benergy Shangrao) set up a b-billion RMB new energy vehicle development fund, aiming to further restructuring its resources and pooling more capital and talents to develop new energy buses.  
 
 
Covering a total area of over 1,000 mu, its new energy bus project is expected to exceeds six billion RMB in total investments. With a total investment of over two billion RMB in fixed assets, the project will finish its construction in April this year with a total building area of nearly 600,000 square meters. It is scheduled for official operation in September, 2018 with an annual production volume of 30,000 units buses, including 25,000 units new energy buses, such as travel coaches, city buses, automatic driving vehicles, and recreational vehicles. In addition, it will be able to roll out 5,000 units school buses and related key spare parts. It aims to realize an annual output value of 15 billion RMB. 
 
 
By closely working with Chinese Academy of Sciences, Benergy Shangrao has successfully developed a number of new energy vehicles, including SR6106BEVG, SR6101BEVG, SR6850BEVG, and SR6890GHN, which have made their way to Shandong and Shanxi provinces.  
 
 
In recent years, Benergy Shangrao witnessed a robust growth with its production and sales volume ranking among the top ten bus makers in China. In addition, its sales of school buses has made into the top five players in China for five consecutive years. Its sales of new energy buses also ranked among the top ten players in China. Currently, it holds 70%-80% market in Jiangxi province.
