March 25, 2009: recently, a signing ceremony was held to mark the operation of a new cooperation base integrating research, production and education jointly set up by Henan Shaolin Bus Co., Ltd. and Henan Institute of Engineering (HIE). Major leaders from the two sides attended the ceremony and unveiled the base's nameplate to the public.

Shaolin Bus, holding an important position in China's bus & coach industry, now boasts a product spectrum ranging from large- and medium-sized coaches, urban buses, tourist coaches, and special utility vehicles. With an annual production capacity of over 10,000 units, the company has been ranking among the top five bus & coach builders in China for five consecutive years.

In 2008, after the establishment of the first Academician's Work Studio in Shaolin Bus, the company successfully managed to upgrade its products mix and strengthen its R&D capabilities in a very short time, which has in turn significantly sharpened the competitiveness of the bus & coach builder's products in the market.
