Foton Motor Posts Strong May Sales Performance

Foton Motor continued to show strong performance in May, ranking first in China’s commercial vehicle sales.
According to the company’s latest data, Foton sold a total of 58,191 vehicles in May, achieving the No. 1 position in the industry.
Key highlights include:
Heavy-duty trucks: 16,032 units sold, up 137% year-on-year.
Light-duty trucks: 36,078 units sold, ranking first in the industry.
Overseas market: 17,600 units sold, up 164% year-on-year.
New energy vehicles (NEV): 12,354 units sold, up 153% year-on-year.
Foton has set its goal “to be a world-class commercial vehicle enterprise.” The May results show strong progress in both traditional and new energy segments, as well as in overseas markets.
