Analysis of China Bus Export in 2009 and Strategy in 2010 Ⅰ

1. In the year of 2009, China totally exported 10952 buses, down 46.17% year-on-year. At the same time, China totally sold 163618 buses at last year in domestic market, up 0.81 percent year-on-year. The figures show that the global financial crisis deeply slams China export business. According to the statistics, the export turnover reached 3.8 billion yuan, down 40.98 percent year-on-year. More and more high-grade buses and coaches were exported to overseas market. Regarding the figures, please refer to the forms as follow:

Remark: In the year of 2009, the export sales volume of large-sized bus reached 4220 units, down 50.78 percent year-on-year and the export turnover was 2.52311 billion yuan, down 41.86 percent year-on –year. The export sales volume of middle-sized bus reached 3168 units, down 46.13 percent year-on-year and the export turnover was 969.94 million yuan, down 34.90 percent year-on-year. The export sales volume of small-sized bus reached 3564 units, down 39.5 percent year-on-year and the export turnover was 307.446 million yuan, down 49.55 percent year-on-year. The export sales volume of inner-city bus reached 3173 units, down 33.06 percent year-on-year and the export turnover was 1.16310 billion yuan, down 38.09 percent year-on-year.
