China Exported 29,991 Buses from Jan to May in 2014

www.chinabuses.org: In the first five months this year, China exported 29,991 units of buses, up by 45.14% year on year. It realized an export value of 949 million USD, up by 34.52%. The most popular destination of Chinese buses is Egypt, which imported 5,369 units from Jan. to May, up by 3.29%. Among the top overseas markets, Bolivia saw the highest increases in both export volume and export value, with the growth rates registering at 671.1% and 366.40%.

According to statistics, China's top 50 bus manufacturers exported 2,899 units of large and medium buses in May. From Jan. to May, the nation exported 15,023 units in total, up by 34.5% year on year.

A comparison of the growth rates registered in the same period from 2010 to 2014 shows that the growing momentum has been slowing down, dropping from 130.2% in 2010 to 34.5% this year. The dramatic decrease in the growth rate of export volume of Chinese buses also indicates that the unfavorable overseas market conditions.

In May, the top ten light bus makers' exports went up by 27.7%. Higer saw the most dramatic increase in its exports during May. However, Jianghuai Xingrui witnessed the biggest decrease in the same month. Huachen Jinbei Haishi achieved the highest export volume in May.

From Jan. To May, the top ten light bus makers' export went up by 38.57%. Cherry Weilin experienced the most explosive growth rate while Huachen Jinbei saw the biggest increase in its export volume. In contrast, SAIC Datong witnessed the sharpest decrease.
