China VAN Sales Reach 36,000 Units in April 2025

According to the latest data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in April 2025, China VAN sector recorded sales of 36,076 units across various models, marking a slight year-on-year increase of 5.16%.
 
From January to April 2025, cumulative sales of VAN vehicles in China reached 137,898 units, representing a year-on-year growth of 8.87%.
 
Top 3 VAN Manufacturers Sales Rankings for April 2025:
 
Changan Automobile led the industry with 10,861 units sold, the only automaker exceeding 10,000 units, and achieved a year-on-year growth of 49.74%.
 
JMC (Jiangling Motors Corporation) ranked second with 8,848 units sold, up 13.41% year-on-year, holding a market share of 24.53%.
 
SAIC MAXUS secured third place with 6,931 units sold, though experiencing a 3.27% year-on-year decline, and commanded a market share of 19.21%.
 
Top  4 VAN Manufacturers Sales and Year-on-Year Growth for January-April 2025:
 
Changan Automobile led the cumulative sales with 41,209 units, the only automaker exceeding 40,000 units, and achieved a year-on-year growth of 48.59%, securing a dominant market share of 29.88%.
 
JMC followed with 28,799 units sold, up 16.46% year-on-year, and held a market share of 20.88%, ranking second.
 
SAIC MAXUS ranked third with 27,260 units sold, up 11.18% year-on-year, and commanded a market share of 19.77%.
 
Foton Motor came in fourth with 12,721 units sold, though experiencing a 22.49% year-on-year decline, and held a market share of 9.22%.
