China Bus Exports May Surpass 60,000-unit, BYD Tops the City Bus Export

The latest data indicates that the 25 key China bus companies in the industry exported 5,736 buses (over 3.5 meters in length) in November 2024, representing a 25% year-on-year increase! From January to November this year, these companies exported 54,506 buses, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 38.7%!

Based on the export sales data of key bus companies in the industry from 2020 to 2024, the upward trend in bus exports remains robust in 2024. Cumulative sales for the first 11 months reached 54,506 vehicles, up 38.7%.

In terms of the November rankings:

The top ten exporters in the bus industry for October were Yutong Bus, Golden Dragon Kinglong, Higer, Zhongtong, AUV, BYD, Ankai, Asiastar (including Weichai Asiastar), and JMC Jingma.

For the cumulative rankings from January to November:

The top ten cumulative bus exporters are Yutong Bus, Golden Dragon, Kinglong, Zhongtong, Higer, BYD, JMC Jingma, AUV, Asiastar Bus (including Weichai Asiastar), and Ankai.

In the city bus segment:

BYD has taken the top spot, with Yutong coming in third. In November 2024, 1,750 city buses were exported, up 3.86% year-on-year. From January to November, a total of 19,269 city buses were exported, representing a year-on-year growth of 19.63%.

The November city bus export rankings have seen a major shuffle: BYD has secured the top position in the monthly city bus export chart, Higer remains in second place, Yutong has risen to third, and Zhongtong has surged to fourth.
