Exports of China New Energy Buses in October

In October 2024, China's exports of new energy buses (over 3.5 meters in length) reached 2,656 units, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 115.24% and a month-on-month growth of 46.01%, maintaining robust "double growth."

In October, JMC Jingma once again emerged as the biggest "dark horse," topping the charts with 620 units of new energy bus exports, a year-on-year surge of 203.92% and a month-on-month growth of 29.17%, accounting for a market share of 23.34%. In terms of specific models, the majority of JMC Jingma exported new energy vehicles were light buses, a key factor contributing to its top ranking.

BYD continued to hold the second spot, with new energy bus exports totaling 418 units, a month-on-month increase of 60.15%, and a market share of 15.74%, up nearly two percentage points compared to September.

Golden Dragon continued to occupy the third position, with new energy bus exports of 341 units, a staggering year-on-year increase of 1162.96%, and a month-on-month growth of 48.26%, accounting for a market share of 12.84%, also showing continuous improvement compared to September.

Among the top ten companies, at least six achieved year-on-year growth. Notably, Chery Wanda saw the highest increase, reaching 54 times that of the previous year. Other companies with doubled year-on-year growth included Golden Dragon(1162.96%), JMC Jingma (203.92%), and Higer Bus (144.35%).

From January to October, China's exports of new energy buses totaled 11,978 units, marking a year-on-year increase of 25.28%. The growth rate expanded by nearly 14 percentage points compared to the first nine months, indicating continuous and robust growth.

BYD retained its top position with exports of 2,861 new energy buses, a year-on-year increase of 5.85%, and a market share of 23.89%. It was also the only company to surpass 2,000 units in cumulative exports of new energy buses for the first ten months, consistently leading in sales throughout the year.

Higer Bus continued to rank third, with exports of 1,414 new energy buses, a year-on-year increase of 59.95%, and a market share of 11.8%.

It is believed that with mainstream companies further expanding their overseas markets and the comparative advantages of China new energy buses continuing to shine, China's exports of new energy buses hold great promise and a bright future ahead!
