Golden Dragon and Higer Leap to 2nd and 3rd Places! New Energy Bus Export Rankings in August Unveiled

In August 2024, China exported 1,563 new energy buses (over 3.5 meters), marking a significant year-on-year increase of 164.02% and a month-on-month growth of 64.7%.
 
In August, BYD maintained its leading position with 479 new energy buses exported, showing a year-on-year surge of 383.84% and a month-on-month growth of 79.4%, accounting for 30.65% of the market share.
 
Golden Dragon Buses jumped to second place, with 291 new energy buses exported, demonstrating a year-on-year growth of 58.15% and a staggering month-on-month increase of 561.36%, capturing 18.62% of the market share and experiencing a nearly 14-percentage-point increase compared to July, indicating rapid growth momentum.
 
Higer Buses rose to third place, exporting 208 new energy buses, with a year-on-year growth of 79.31% and a month-on-month surge of 181.08%, securing 13.31% of the market share and seeing an over 5-percentage-point increase from July, showcasing an impressive performance.
 
Among the top ten companies, at least seven achieved year-on-year growth, with Zhongtong Buses leading the way with a remarkable increase of 740%. At least seven companies also saw month-on-month growth, with Golden Dragon Buses topping the list with a 561.36% increase. Other companies with doubled month-on-month growth include Higer Buses with 181.08% and Zhongtong Buses with 121.05%. At least six companies achieved both year-on-year and month-on-month "double growth," all with significant increases, highlighting the impressive results of new energy bus exports in August.
 
From January to August 2024, China exported 7,503 new energy buses, marking a year-on-year growth of 2.01%, reversing the previous seven-month decline of 12.17%, which is truly inspiring.
