China New Energy Bus Sales in July 2024

According to the terminal registration data, in July 2024, domestic sales of new energy buses reached 1,958 units (excluding new energy logistics buses and export sales, the same below), up 9.3% from 1,792 units in the previous month, but down 43% from 3,424 units in July of last year. From January to July 2024, the cumulative sales of new energy buses totaled 15,395 units, increasing by 9.9% compared with the same period last year (when the cumulative terminal sales of new energy buses were 14,012 units).
Among the top new energy bus manufacturers in July 2024:
--- Ankai Bus sold 235 units, up 422% year on year, ranking second;
--- Higer Bus sold 177 units, down 14% year on year, ranking third;
--- Foton AUV Bus sold 153 units, up 337% year on year, ranking fourth.
