Large Bus Sales Up By 11% and Chassis Sales Down by 83% in October

www.chinabuses.org: Statistics show that China sold 7,109 units Large buses (including non-whole vehicles), up by 2.21% month on month and up by 9.39% year on year. In September this year, the sales dropped by 8.81% year on year. In October, the sales of Large buses accounted for 16.97% of the total bus sales in China, a little bit higher than the percentage which stood at 15.81% in September.
In October, the sales of whole Large buses stood at 7,091 units, up by 2.28% month on month and up by 10.92% year on year. The top five players in the Large bus market were Yutong, BYD, Higer, Asiastar, Higer and BAIC Foton. The combined sales volume of the five enterprises reached 5,651 units, accounting for 79.69% of the overall sales of Large buses in China. In October, the sales of non-whole Large buses stood at 18 units, down by 18.18% month on month and down by 83.02% year on year. Only two players in the non-whole Large bus market registered sales last month, including Lion (17 units) and Zoomlion (1 unit). They held 94.44% and 5.56% respectively of the whole non-whole Large bus market in October. For the detailed information, please refer to the Table 3.
