www.chinabuses.org: Statistics show that China sold 7,288 units Medium Buses (including non-whole vehicles), down by 15.72% month on month and up by 2.68% year on year. In September this year, the sales jumped by 29.70% year on year. In October, the sales of Medium Buses accounted for 16.97% of the total bus sales in China, a little bit lower than the percentage which stood at 19.65% in September.
 

In October, the sales of whole Medium Buses stood at 5,725 units, down by 19.33% month on month and up by 11.19% year on year. The top five players in the Medium Bus market were Yutong, Zhongtong, Higer, Dongfeng, and Golden Dragon. The combined sales volume of the five enterprises reached 4,249 units, accounting for 74.22% of the overall sales of Medium Buses in China. Also worth mentioning is that Yutong’s sales took up to 44.73% of the overall sales of Medium Buses in China. For the detailed information of the five players, please refer to the Table 1 below. In October, the sales of non-whole Medium Buses stood at 1,563 units, up by 0.84% month on month and down by 19.81% year on year. Only four players in the non-whole Medium Bus market registered sales last month. The top two players, Dongfeng and JAC took over 99% of the non-whole Medium Bus market in China. The combined sales volume of Zoomlion and Dongfeng Nanchong stood at only 11 units. For the detailed information, please refer to the Table 2.
