Light Bus Sales Down By 15% and Chassis Sales Down by 55% in October,2016

www.chinabuses.org: Statistics show that China sold 27,489 units light buses (including non-whole vehicles), down by 3.21% month on month and down by 20.30% year on year. In August and September this year, the sales went down by 12.38% and 14.98% year on year.

In October, the sales of non-whole light buses stood at 2,171 units, down by 7.34% month on month and down by 55.02% year on year. The top five players in the non-whole light bus market were Dongfeng, JAC, Forta, JMC and Dongfeng Nanchong. Together, they took the whole market of the non-whole light buses in China. In October, the sales of light buses accounted for 65.63% of the total bus sales in China, a little bit higher than the percentage which stood at 64.54% in September. The sales of whole light buses stood at 25,318 units, down by 2.84% month on month and down by 14.65% year on year. The top five players in the light bus market were JMC, Jinbei, BAIC Foton, Naveco, and SAIC Datong. The combined sales volume of the five enterprises reached 18,310 units, accounting for 72.32% of the overall sales of light buses in China.
